The Icelandic prawn is a coldwater prawn, which lives in the North Atlantic, Arctic Ocean and Pacific Ocean. The prawn´s lay most of their time on the bottom of the sea and prefer to live on clay groundings. It has been found down to 1.400 m around Iceland but normally it is found between 50 to 700m in to the sea.
